The Study in Sweden logo is available in five different colour variations. The logo can be downloaded (password protected) in the following file types: EPS, JPEG, PNG and SVG. Who may use the Study in Sweden logo? The Study in Sweden logo is to only be used by the Swedish Institute and Swedish governmental agencies representing Sweden abroad such as Swedish Foreign Missions. The logo is the property of the Swedish Institute. Rules of usage Swedish Foreign Missions and other governmental organisations using the logo have the responsibility of promoting Swedish higher education at all Swedish universities . For example, if a promotional activity is only related to a single Swedish university the activity should also provide an opportunity for students to learn about studying in Sweden (rather than a single institution) to be able to use the logo. In social media, such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, the logo must be added in PNG format The logo may not be altered in any way unless approved by the Swedish Institute.

— The funding form is currently closed for requests and registrations. — The Swedish Institute is offering funding and training for Foreign Missions in priority countries outside the EU/EEA who would like to attend or arrange events that market Sweden as a study destination. The funds are meant to cover expenses related to the following types of events Student recruitment fairs organised by a third party Pre-departure events organised by Foreign Missions for students accepted to Swedish universities Study in Sweden recruitment events organised by Foreign Missions for prospective students Printing Study in Sweden material What countries are eligible for funding? Due to limited resources in terms of funding only Foreign Missions from countries outside the EU/EEA area are eligible to apply for funding. All Foreign Missions can receive support through our toolkits and online training. Application deadlines Student fairs Applications are accepted on a rolling basis though applications should be sent no less than one month before the fair. Early applications will be given priority. Pre-departure events Applications for pre-departure events should ideally be sent in in January. Applying in January-February increases your chances of receiving funding. Study in Sweden recruitment events organised by Foreign Missions Applications should be sent no less than two months before the start of the event. When will we give you confirmation? We will try to inform you as soon as possible from when we receive the application but it might take up to one week before we can reply to you. Be sure to apply on time! How much can the grant cover? Student recruitment fairs There is no limit on the grant though it is intended to cover the costs of participating in the fair such as travel, lodging, registration fee and other expenses related to the fair such as printing t-shirts or arranging dinner for alumni volunteers. However, the amount applied for will be taken into consideration when deciding who will receive funding. It is OK to apply to take part in multiple fairs. Pre-departure events The maximum amount of funding for pre-departure events is 25,000 SEK for each event though we expect expenses to be lower for cities that do not have a substantial number of international students. This is intended to cover costs of the event such as renting a venue, arranging for any food, coffee, snacks, printing costs, nametags, etc. Study in Sweden recruitment events organised by Foreign Missions The maximum amount of funding for recruiting events organised by Foreign Missions is 25,000 SEK for each event. This is intended to cover costs of the event such as renting a venue, marketing the event, arranging any food, coffee, snacks, etc. What requirements apply? Student fairs The fair should be focused on prospective master students interesting in studying full degree programmes abroad Fairs aimed at other target groups (e.g. doctoral students, students looking for language schools abroad, etc) will not be accepted. Please read and use the guide on Promoting studying in Sweden and the chapter on Student fairs Pre-departure events The event should ideally be organised between mid-April – mid-May You should expect at least 10 newly admitted students to attend the event. Alumni must be incorporated into the event to some extent Study in Sweden recruitment events organised by Foreign Missions The event should be organised during between September-December if possible You should expect at least 150 prospective students to attend Printing new Study in Sweden material The material should be based on designs developed by the Swedish institute, mainly the designs available on Sharing Sweden For material based on other designs, such as profile products, please contact Study in Sweden to check whether funding can be made available What is expected of the foreign mission? Student fairs Project management of the entire fair, from registration to the completion of the fair Due to the demanding nature of student fairs a minimum of two staff should plan to attend the fair, including at least one full-time, employed staff member All staff attending the fair shall attend an online training organised by SI Collect contact details of all students you come in contact with and send to SI immediately after the event Use Study in Sweden branded material and follow our brand guidelines Pre-departure events Project management of the entire event including marketing, event planning and registration The project manager shall attend an online training organised by the Swedish Institute before the event A list of all alumni and students attending the event shall be sent to SI Study in Sweden recruitment events organised by Foreign Missions Project management of the entire event including marketing, event planning and registration The project manager shall attend an online training organised by the Swedish Institute before the event. In June of 2014, the professional hockey team from the northern Swedish mining town of Kiruna made the bold move to become the first professional sports team in Sweden to apply for LGBTQ certification and, on top of that, change its official uniform to rainbow jerseys. Even with all the positive recognition, worldwide media attention and awards that followed, it has been a tough ongoing battle of maintaining sponsors and a strong fan base for the club.
