Fashion is one of the top polluting industries in the world. If a garment were to be used three times longer, its climate impact would shrink by a full 65 per cent. Choosing second-hand knocks off a full 70 per cent of a garment’s climate impact. So make sure to hand down, trade, donate and recycle your clothes rather than turning them into rubbish once you are finished with them.
