With a higher education system ranked second in the world, Sweden is an attractive study destination for students worldwide seeking to complete their bachelor’s or master’s degree abroad. Swedish academics emphasise critical and creative thinking, skills that are highly valued in today’s global labour market.
Help spread the word about the nearly 1,000 international degree programmes offered at Swedish universities. This toolkit includes a PowerPoint presentation with speaker notes, printed materials, booth design and pull-up displays, as well as guidelines for participation in fairs and pre-departure events.

The Swedish Institute offers four roller banners/pull-up displays, which can be used during the student fairs and events either as a set of four or in any combination of, for example, two roller banners. Use the files below to print the roll ups.
Use the files from the Study in Sweden booth design to print a backdrop or sidewall to decorate a booth at a student recruitment fair.
Text for fair catalogue
A short example text to use and alter as you wish when fair organisers ask for a presentation of you as an exhibitor. If you are asked for a longer text or if you are offered an advertisement spot, contact us for more information.
We require that you send us a list of all the leads (name, email address and potential other information) immediately after the event so we can send a follow-up email. If you can’t use the app listed in our manual, please use our lead template below to collect the information.

Instructions and manuals
Study in Sweden brand guide
The aim of this brand manual is to support Swedish universities in their international recruitment.
Preparing for a student fair
This manual outlines how Foreign Missions should project manage participation at student recruitment fairs. It includes information about all the steps needed to be taken before the fair, such as registering for the fair and ordering material, as well as instructions on how to set up the booth at the fair and details on how many resources are needed to successfully run a booth.
Advice and representation
Sometimes it can be difficult to know how to answer questions or represent the brand Study in Sweden in action. This manual outlines how to professionally represent Study in Sweden as well as how to successfully communicate with prospective students at student recruiting events.
Please also refer to our checklist for student fairs as a complement to the guide.
The Swedish Institute offers financial support to embassies and consulates taking part in student recruitment fairs or arranging other events such as pre-departure events for students. Find out more about how to apply for financial support:
