More than 18,000 people study Swedish every year at universities outside Sweden. Language studies are often combined with studies in social and natural sciences as well as technical subjects. Sverige A-Ö

Sverige A-Ö is a photo exhibition presenting a general image of Sweden. The exhibition consists of 29 images, one for each letter in the Swedish alphabet, each image connecting to a Swedish word. Text in the booklet for translation (ENG) Booklet template for local translations in PDF format Preview of the exhibition Digital slideshow for streaming or downloading. Instructions The photo exhibition is adapted to the exhibition modules. A small booklet explaining the words is also available for translating and printing locally. The images are to be printed on 11 posters (70×100 cm) on 5 mm matte laminated KAPA or Forex boards and mounted on the exhibition modules with Velcro. 3-4 modules will be needed, but the images may also be mounted on walls. The booklet is printed in A4 format on minimum 250 gram matte paper. If you wish to translate the booklet there is a PDF template below for filling out and printing locally. The printing files can be downloaded from the link provided by SI via email. Financial support Applications for projects in April to December 2023 Due to the extraordinarily high number of toolkit applications, and a limited budget, we are unable to grant any further financial support for toolkits in 2023 with the exception of toolkit applications with following purposes: – Higher education promotion – Sweden alumni relations – Sweden 500 celebrations (maximum of 5 000 SEK) – The Nobel Prize (a limited numer of applications) You can of course also use all material on sharingsweden.se but without funding from us. Swedish embassies and consulates may apply for financial support of maximum SEK 15,000 for producing the exhibition. How to apply To apply, please fill out the application form. The application must be sent in at least two months before the event. Resources are limited and financial support may not be available at the end of the year. Limits may apply. Individuals or organisations who would like to show the exhibit should contact the Swedish embassy or consulate in your area. How to report After completed event, fill out the project report for toolkits. Repayments If more than 10 per cent of the total grant has not been used, then the full amount of unused funds must be repaid to SI. Repayment shall be via UD EKO. When repaying, enter the project’s registration number (available in the agreement) and the name of your organisation in the notification field and notify the project manager in question.
