🤝 🧸 🎨 These organised meetups provide an opportunity to build cultural bridges, challenge stereotypes about fatherhood, and, for newcomers, the chance to practice their Swedish – all the while engaging in various activities with their children. 👶
The meetings are organised by ’Svenska med Baby’ (’Swedish with Baby’) – a non-profit organisation founded in 2012 by Karin Bruse and Elva Strandér. During their parental leaves, both Bruse and Strandér noticed a lack of gatherings for parents on leave from different cultural and social backgrounds.
