"children": "Did you know that in many parts of Sweden, people can borrow sports equipment ⚽🎿🏸 almost as easily as a book? 📘<br /><br />Fritidsbanken – the ’Leisure Library’ – is a non-profit initiative striving to make sports accessible to everyone. It loans out everything from skis and skates ⛸️ to horseback riding safety gear, camping essentials 🏕️, even child car seats. 🚗 By borrowing instead of buying, families save money and opt for a greener alternative. 🌳<br /><br />Fritidsbanken is particularly useful during ’sportlov’, the week-long ’sports holiday’ that schoolchildren get every year during February or early March. The holiday is a chance to stay active, shake off winter tiredness, then come back motivated to learn! 🔋💪<br /><br />Fritidsbanken began with a first ’bank’ in Forshaga back in 2013, and has expanded significantly since, with services to more than 40 per cent of Sweden’s municipalities.
