How to promote at student fairs A resource-effective way of promoting Swedish higher education in your country is to join a study fair hosted by a third party (such as 'Study in Europe'). It is always great to showcase Sweden at these fairs, as many other countries will also be present.
The fair organiser handles all the marketing and logistics, but often you must pay a participant fee. You can get support from the Swedish Institute (SI) to pay the fee and print materials for your Study in Sweden booth.
Please note that you have to collect contact details of prospective students, so called leads, during the fair and send those to SI after the event.
We also strongly encourage you to include 'career in Sweden – material' in your booth, as we know many students ask about career opportunities when considering moving abroad for studies.

All recruitment events are required to collect and submit students’ contact details (so called leads). This is how we measure the impact of your activity. It’s also a crucial part of attracting talents to Sweden as we will continue communicating Study in Sweden offers to them.

An important part of promoting international student mobility is providing information about scholarships. There are two different websites with information about scholarships that you can use:
1. The SI scholarships for master's studies The Swedish Institute (SI) offers fully funded scholarships to over 700 master’s programmes in Sweden. SI has two scholarship programs: SI Scholarship for Global Professionals and Pioneering Women in STEM.
The scholarships are given to students from certain countries. The country list is updated each year.

2. Study in Sweden scholarship database On Study in Sweden’s website you can find the scholarship database that collects scholarships from Swedish universities and institutions aimed at international students. If you have any suggestions of scholarships to add, don’t hesitate to let us know.

Financial support The Swedish Institute (SI) offers financial support to embassies and consulates (both inside and outside of the EU) in priority countries that wish to attend fairs organised by a third party, with the purpose of attracting international students to come to Sweden for studies.
The funds can be used to cover things such as:
Participation fee in the fair Printing of material from this toolkit Travel for staff and volunteers Snacks/giveaways to have in the booth Application deadlines Applications are accepted on a rolling basis but must be submitted at least two months before the event date.
Requirements Events should target prospective master’s students interested in full degree programmes in Sweden. Activities aimed at other groups (e.g. PhD students or language school seekers) will not be supported. Always include alumni in your activity! What is expected of the foreign mission? Full project management of the event, including participant registration All staff involved should read the Study in Sweden handbook and brand guide Collect and submit leads (contact details to prospective students) within three days after the event, using the Study in Sweden lead template Use Study in Sweden branded material and follow our brand guidelines {

It is always great to showcase Sweden at these fairs, as many other countries will also be present. </p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fair organiser handles all the marketing and logistics, but often you must pay a participant fee. You can get support from the Swedish Institute (SI) to pay the fee and print materials for your Study in Sweden booth.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that you have to collect contact details of prospective students, so called leads, during the fair and send those to SI after the event.</p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also strongly encourage you to include 'career in Sweden – material' in your booth, as we know many students ask about career opportunities when considering moving abroad for studies.</p>\n</div>\n</div>\n"
