How to use campaigns to attract trade and investment A number of marketing campaigns have been developed by the Swedish Institute to support your work in attracting trade and investment to Sweden. The campaigns have slightly different aims and consist of a variety of elements, which can be used in different ways depending on the local context.
Strategic campaigns help build awareness, keep the Sweden and Pioneer brand consistent and create engagement across audiences. By sharing consistent, high-quality content, you can amplify Sweden’s role as a global climate partner – and open doors for both collaboration, trade and investment.
Pioneer the possible brand The Pioneer the possible brand is designed for you in your work promoting Swedish exports and attracting investment.
Climate matchmaker The Climate matchmaker campaign was launched during COP29 in Baku. The idea of the campaign is to provide tools to connect local climate challenges with Swedish companies and solutions in order to reach the goals of the Paris Agreement.
This campaign should only be used as a long-term project when there’s a clear structure in place – starting with an analysis of the country’s long-term climate goals (NDC:s) and leading up to real matchmaking activities. Instructions and support for every step of the way are available.
The Thank you-campaign is a tool to create a locally adapted PR or social media campaign that highlights successful bilateral relations.
Funds for sponsoring ads and social media posts can be applied through this toolkit. The Swedish institute will additionally cover costs for producing the ad material.
Pioneer Prize The Pioneer Prize is an annual award honouring the beauty of Swedish innovation. It was launched in 2025. The campaign is run by the Swedish Institute.
Here you will be able to find relevant material to communicate the campaign to your target groups. The next Pioneer Prize is planned to be awarded second half of 2026.
