Director’s biography: Thomas Jackson is a director, writer and composer known for Historjá (2022), Den inre skogen/Inner Woods (2019), Kartellen - Lys upp skuggorna (2016) and Foodies (2014). His films have been shown at film festivals such as the Berlinale, Toronto Hot Docs, Sydney Film Festival and CPH:DOX, and at art institutions such as MoMA Tokyo, Kiasma and Bonnier konsthall.

How to apply If you represent a Swedish foreign mission you can apply for permission to screen films at local film events. The application is made via the SI Customer portal. When you make your application, you have the option to request financial support for the event.
To preview full length films, get information about local rights, and access other protected content, you need to create an application, which you can then review and complete at a later date. Before making an application, it is mandatory to read the rules and conditions for the Swedish film selection .
We will review your application and give you access to film material and information on how to preview the films.
Once you have decided which film or films to screen, and have all the required information, you update and send in your application via the portal.
