About this toolkit In 2025, we celebrate 250 years of Swedish Jewish life! Jews are recognised as one of Sweden’s five official national minorities. The toolkit can be used by Swedish embassies and consulates to bring the celebration to a global audience.

Target audience The material is intended for a younger target group but can be used for most target groups relevant to Swedish foreign missions.
Financial support for 2025 Swedish foreign missions can apply for financial support for local printing costs of the exhibition and costs for invited guest speaker.

How to use Swedish Jewish life since 1775 The anniversary is an opportunity to recognize the Jewish minority, Jewish culture, and Jewish cultural heritage in Sweden.
The material contains an exhibition with 15 posters in 100x70 cm format as well as a credit list in A3 format. The exhibition is produced and curated by the Living History Forum and is based on the Instagram account Stolt jude run by the Jewish Youth Association in Sweden.
Social media material is being produced throughout the year by the Swedish Institute in collaboration with various actors, such as the Jewish Museum in Stockholm. The material will focus on important figures, places, and the history of Jewish life in Sweden.
Exhibition @stoltjude The exhibition is based on the Instagram account Stolt jude and the book with the same name. The exhibition posters are avaialble in 100x70 cm format. They are best displayed in the new exhibition module or hung on walls. All texts are available in English for local translation.
